The actual synonym for Islam is Peace & Mercy. Almighty states that ‘O you who believe! Enter into peace whole-heartedly.’
People take part in terrorism under Islamic rug are not Muslim according to Islam. Islam never support killing innocent and destroy their property. They completely moved away from righteous path and they will dwell in hell forever.
True fact is that Islam never recognizes terrorism, some media portrays anyone fights with Muslim name as terrorist, whatever the cause they fight for.

Even at the war field it is not allowed to target innocent fearsome soldiers and it’s a despicable action prohibited by Islam.

“If anyone murders an innocent person, it will be as if he has murdered the whole of humanity. And if anyone saves a person it will be as if he has saved the whole of humanity.” Quran 5:32
